Stefy Bau (born February 17, 1977 near Milan, Italy) is a former Motocross and Supercross professional racer. After a career-ending injury in 2005, Stefy was able to turn negative into positive and became the General Manager of the newly established FIM Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme Women’s World Motocross Championship by Youthstream. Since then she has open her own successful branding and business development/marketing agency, 211 Engaging and recently (September 2014) created a Tech StartUp, NexTus Global, which focus on Mobile Applications. The first app launched is Hug Me App, which is a social network that shares the power of hugs.
Her national racing number used to be number 211. 211 was the first number that AMA assigned her when she turned pro in the USA among the men in January 2000. Today 211 is synonymous of 211 MX School, 211 media, 211 Outreach and 211 Engaging, Stefy’s companies in the motorcycle industry and non. Stefy has also been a member of the CFM, Women Commission inside the FIM Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme and made ties with many governments to empower women in sports.
